Did you happen to notice that kids with ADHD have extra energy?
Are ADHD kids like the Energizer Bunny?
Traveling on the Wayback Machine…
Ahhh…summer. Half a day working with 3-6 year olds with ADHD. Ha! Less than 10 kids and I have an assistant. This will be a walk in the park compared to my 30+ teenagers crammed into a small room. I wonder why I have an assistant.
It didn’t take long to find out. Buses came. Out rolled screaming kids, some with diapers! Now I was the one who was running around screaming. They never stopped. I eventually did. I ran out of breath 🙂
High-energy children respond to adults with equal or higher levels of energy. Develop strategies to outlast kids who always last.
Note to self…practice yoga breathing…
